Mahajan,

You do not have to be a member to buy an airgun from an online seller. How you would go about getting it released from customs when it gets confiscated is the question.........

You can buy a Rifle from US / UK / EU without a membership.

However you can be 100% sure that the customs will give a run from North Pole to South Pole with all possible questions.

Welcome to the Forum.

Please take time to read through each ones experience.

You need time and patience.

However if no membership, the choice of buying internationally is restricted.

PK - That was one seriously helpful post; though a bit late for me!I just bought a .177 Dominator from Dubai & had to pay a hefty premium that all shop front retailers charge, as opposed to prices by online shops. Most online shops do not ship to India, though I have found one, www.airgunstyle.com, from whom I am importing a PCP pump, etc - Cheers Mrityunja

PK

Your post was very helpful. I just imported a Diana 34 T06 and a Crosman 1377 from PA.

Posted details in the "Airgun import experiences - via post/ courier route" topic.

Thanks,

If you are from Delhi, try to see if you can take a membership from Karni Shooting range.

But if your purpose is too buy a Air Rifle for plinking with that membership. Don't waste the effort of running behind the authorities.

Most Shooting Clubs don't allow high velocity PCP's, Springers, BB's to practice.
