IHP used to zero their air rifles at 10 mtrs. before packing and shipping. I remember suggesting that they ought to write the serial number of the air gun on the target card and include it in their boxes. In fact, they had this guy who only job was to zero them day out day in.

Put in a competition he would have won any, hands down. Imagine the practice he must have had doing all this virtually all his life!

Hi Guys,
> Most air guns that come out of factories are sighted at 10mtrs.
> However we are not sure with what weight / type of pellets they are done with.
> The 'zeroing' is done on a 'bench rest' at the factory - but most of us use it 'hand-held' when trying out.
> Therefore as Naga so aptly put it "ZERO YOUR GUN YOURSELF' - IT HELPS YOU TO GET TO KNOW YOUR GUN & ITS BEHAVIOUR.
> If you are buying the scope from the same dealer - you could request them to zero it for you.
Cheers
