9 mm largo? Is it a Spanish pistol? Field strip the gun, check the firing pin/hammer.

So you have procured duds and are trying to shoot them in your pistol?Another thing I wanted to ask is that most of my bullets have a dent marked at the center... Is that normal or is my dealer cheating on me.....

9mm largo isn't a very common cartridge in the west. If you haven't gotten into reloading but have bullets, powder, primers, die set and press available; then you can start looking into reloading. If not, then sell what you cant use...
For 9mm largo, one of my friends uses a 124gr bullet 6.0 grains of power pistol with a cci 500 primer and 1100fps.

Re: What to do with empty cartridges of 9mm
Hi,
I realize this is an old discussion but I figured I would still join it. Reloading for a handgun is not at all difficult, provided that you can get components. To reload 9mm Largo boxer primed brass you will need small pistol primers, a suitable powder, and 9mm (.355 inch) bullets somewhere around 115 to 130 grains. Sorry for the English measurements - I am not sure what they work out to in metric. But if helps you any, there are 7000 grains in one pound, so perhaps you could use this for a conversion if necessary.
You would also need a reloading press and reloading dies for 9mm Largo. A used reloading press would probably run you about $60 US on ebay and 9mm Largo reloading dies will cost you about $35 for a new set. If carbide dies are available, I would advise you to get them instead of steel. Carbide dies can shatter if dropped on a hard surface, but you also will not need to lube your casings during resizing.
I don't know if it's legal for you to order these things from the US, but I don't think there is anything inherently illegal about them. They're really just pieces of machined steel. If you can get yourself legally set up with the necessary tools and components in India and need any advice, please feel free to ask me. I've been reloading for twelve years for various handgun and rifle cartridges and would be glad to help.
