I paid 5500 for IHP 35 .177.... Got it from Mumbai... I would suggest you to order it from Aimco. Joy is a good guy. The prices in Mumbai are very high.. But then i chose mumbai coz our eminent IFG member Brihacharan helped me by selecting the rifle personally among the lot from the shop... Didnt mind paying the premium as i was guided.

I just got my IHP compressed air rifle
It's good at performance but lacks finishing!
The sights r full of dirty oil and click giving axles r all rusted!
Thts obvious after all it is indigenous!
and the rifle was not fitting in the box provided by them ROTFL had to do cutting

i just bought a IHP .22 air rifle day before yesterday and it is real fun to shoot with am not a professional shooter but the groupings that i achieved were really good and that too from around 15 meters
all said and done i dont have to think twice in rating IHP .22 mod 35 a great success in indian made air rifles....

Thanx :)

zinni22 please tell me what would you do if a bunch of stray dogskill your beloved pets?they killed mine   ...............please reply soon.................. :deadhorse:
Police kill the criminals not because they don't have humanity. The rights of the other people to live are important to them than the right of the criminals. Same applies here. Call the municipal corporation first. if they don't heed to your requests, i'll not ask you to shoot but i can advice you to do whatever you can do to get rid of them. If necessary shoot! I came across such situation when one of my friends mom was bitten by a stray dog !

rifle confiscated and man arrested.

shooting stray dogs seems like very bad idea

little bit of topic, but since this question rise in this thread

quote of Gandhiji’s from the site karmayog.com:
A roving dog without an owner is a danger to society and a swarm of them is a menace to its very existence…. If we want to keep dogs in towns or villages in a decent manner no dog should be suffered to wander. There should be no stray dogs even as we have no stray cattle…. But can we take individual charge of these roving dogs? Can we have a pinjrapole for them? If both these things are impossible then there seems to me no alternative except to kill them…it is an insult to the starving dog to throw a crumb at him. Roving dogs do not indicate compassion and civilization in society; they betray instead the ignorance and lethargy of its members…that means we should keep them and treat them with respect as we do our companions and not allow them to roam about.”

No stray cattle? I guess the one who said that never visited our city. Maybe there were no stray cattle at his time but I see stray bulls everyday. I think all stray dogs should be killed as most of them either suffering from diseases or have rabies. I know how it feels to kill an animal (We had to kill our dog because of rabies) but sometimes we need to man up and do what is best for the society.

PROTIP: If you happened to kill a cat, don't post it on internet or the so called /b/tards might jump on you and send you to the jail. I just seen a thread there about a woman who killed a cat and they managed to get her arrested. That thread received over 1000 replies.

Recently ,I bought IHP Model 35 of .177 cal in bangalaore from Kovi Shop. This model is not easily available now..After tuning and fitting a peepsight I find it extremely accurate. The barrel is superb. Of course finishing has only Indian standards.

glad to see you are happy with your rifle, but "extremely accurate" is not a number. if you can, why not to shot let say 20 shots from bench and post a score here. or just shot your best 5 shots group and measure longest distance between shots. that may help really to understand how accurate this rifle can be.

my experience was horrible, I was not able to hit 10M target from bench, but I shot rifle which may not been cleaned for few years. So, I'd really appreciate if somebody can post some results, of what this rifles can do actually.

@ max moody:

exact prices as on today...

IHP 0.177 and 0.22 both are costing 8000.00 rs without bill...there is a smaller one 0.22 which is 7000.00 rs...dont have an idea of the compressed air one...

the prices are high, however the news is that do to a court judgment ruling/pending (am not sure), IHP has stopped manufacturing...

the dealers are only selling, what they have in stock...however this also they are doing without bill since the issue of the court...

Cheers!!!

Hi,

You might not have got a bill but eventually the dealer would have to issue a bill since all National & IHP air guns have serial numbers and in most of the cases the national distributor issues a bill with the serial numbers of the air guns mentioned. When the dealer sell he too makes a note of the serial number on the bill. This happens in Delhi ofcourse. Don't have a clue what happens outside.

Not sure whether my dealer noted down the serial number or not coz i was out at that time to get cash and the dealer was getting my gun wrapped so as to avoid public attention...its a delhi based dealer only...

Dear All,

Need a small bit of info from any one of you...i have read somewhere here that an IHP can shoot through a Dalda tin can...

I tried to shoot through Haldiram Rasgulla Can (I believe its tin) with my National 35, 0.177 but it makes only a dent and the pellet ricochets back to me...it doesnt go through unlike a few posts herein...

Is it ok or my gun needs a repair or tuning? I must have shot about 50 shots by now...

Will wait for your answr...

Regards
Bodhisattwa

It punctures a good knight mosquito repellant bottle cleanly though...
