Hasanbhai,

Describe it as a "stirrup latch".
Justice alone is the mainstay of government and the source of prosperity to the governed, injustice is the most pernicious of things; it saps the foundations of the government and brings ruin upon the realm - Sher Shah Sur, Sultan-ul-Adil.

MDHASAN,

Thank you for a very interesting post, I have seen it happen too, though not as frequently as you have. The question is why does the original IOF stirrup barrel catch breaks in the first place ? I presume it is an outsourced item bought cheaply by the company. Now is it the poor quality metal or is it too thin (or both) and is unable to withstand the stress it is subjected to.
What metal and thickness are you using for your replacement stirrup barrel catch and what are you charging for it?

best,
Rp.
It's always better to have a gun and not need it than need a gun and not have it !
