Stage Weight and Trigger Weight

Post by Rijo Joseph » Sat May 28, 2011 12:02 pm

Hi,
Come across a feature called Stage weight and trigger weight adjustment in my T06 Trigger of my Diana, It can be adjusted by turning two different screws. What exactly it is? how it differs ? :? can some one help !!! :D

As per Diana we can adjust
stage weight ranges from 300g to 380g
Trigger weight ranges from 400g to 500g

Hi Rijo,
> What I understand is TO6 is a 2 stage trigger.
> Normally the pressure applied on the trigger to release the sear is quoted as Lbs ie: so many pounds of pressure to be applied to the trigger to fire the gun.
> In most foreign made guns it's approx. 3.5lbs - hence in 2 stage triggers one can adjust the pressure seperately for each stage depending upon the preference of the shooter.
> For eg. one would like a 2lbs on first stage & 1lbs on the final or 2nd stage or whatever combination the shooter wants or is comfortable with.
Cheers :D
