AK Super 350

Post by davidj7 » Wed May 18, 2011 5:26 pm

Got myself a AK Super 350 Break barrel rifle this week. Cost me Rs5,600/-. I dunno if the cost was a rip off . I bought it anyway.

The rifle looks neat . The stock is well done .Its painted nevertheless its nice compared to Indian air rifles. Quite powerful . I haven’t got much time to play with it yet.

The sights well that’s another story .I will need a hammer to adjust them. I will post some photos so you can judge yourself.

I tried to fit a H& N FTT .22 pellet but it wont fit in the barrel . The same fits perfectly in my HW 80. I tried accura .22 pointed that fits okay and H&N FTT .20 fits neatly. Imagine my surprise.

Has anyone got this particular model?

as you said the .22 pellets did not fit then may be your gun is a 0.177 calibre. Check the outer surface of the gun to locate if its mentioned anywhere of being a 0.177.. If you find it then get 0.177 pellets and shoot.
Congrats on your new purchase

Regards.

Hi David, same issue to me also i have brought one almost 4-5 years back model was .22 AK300 Thrissul made my UTA Calcutta. problem with it is wont fit Crossman ultramags, RWS super points or even gamo pellets which are .22 and works fine with master shot, marksman, marshal kind of brands...and it is performing really good with these brands, as i don't have a caliper to measure the bore don't know where exactly the problem lies.....

only chance may be our bore size is not a standard one to accept real .22 caliber....... :D

I am from trichur and i come to cochin every other week thats why i prefered the ernakulam rifle club.Even i heard about the RSC cochin for airrifle but no response when i contacted them.
Kottayam and Idukki are a bit far off .Kottayam i go once in 6 months or so. Lets see if i can make it work. Idukki I heard they have a beautful club .I'll contact Mr Cherian and see about the Kottayam club.
Thanks again
