Hi
Has anyone used this iris
http://shop.tenburyguns.com/index.php?r ... ct_id=8102
Some questions around this
1. Can I import it via postal route?
2. It also has magnification, so will IISF rule allow me to use it?
Thanks
Regards
Gaurav

Re: Importing Iris any thoughts?
better order such things from
[email protected]
Maik Eckhardt
MEC High Tech Shooting
Equipment GmbH
SCATT distributor
MEYTON Local Areal Representative
Hannöversche Straße 22
44143 Dortmund
Germany
Maik Eckhardt - international level shooter and he can give you advice on use too. they can send it to India via post and you should be ready with all same documents as you may need for importing rifle. I imported few things from MEC, that was not so smooth, but finally I received everything plus some valuable add ons.
they also have fantastic custom stock, best way to buy an air rifle, they can buy any action you want, on discounted price and fix it on their custom stock. No way you can get direct from Walther anything like that. My next 10m air rifle will be only that way.

not the same one , but you can check this one from capapie
http://www.capapiesports.com/search/998 ... od_id/102/
BTW for the one you posted and above the price is for iris only , you have to buy the filters separately in all cases.

No.
ISSF rules prohibits putting of any optical device on the weapon.

Only open sights are allowed. Optical, mirror, telescope, laserbeam,
electronically projected dot sights etc., are prohibited.

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

BTW Gverma, do make sure the shop has the item in stock before you order, particularly for UK based dealers who are actually sourcing their items from elsewhere.
