Hello guys

I am new to this forum, i intend to buy an IHP 35 .22 rifle. but there seems to be no stock available at all in Bangalore  :x . They say it's because of the shortage (for the last 6 months) of wood for the rifle butt. Can i buy the rifle directly from IHP in Ahmadabad??? is yes how ? & who should i call ??

Quite true, pyroman. They seem to be stuck without good wood. Call Mr. Makhija on 079-25830221 and have a word with him if he could ship one directly to you. He's the factory manager at IHP.

Strange that a big company like Indian Hume Pipe is unable to procure wood for making stocks...problem must surely be some where else

today i bought a IHP national .22 model 35 air rifle. butt is not looking very nice. rear cap of spring cylinder is made of plastic. mechanical part is looking all right. only good thing is rear sight adjustment. soon i will do grouping and power test. i think IHP not maintain quality of rifles.........not very much happy after buy this.
i have tested many pieces of IHP rifle before buying this. there was a bent in bore/barrel in one of them. please check bore before buying...i want to upload images but don't know how to do that

i bought it from jindal brothers shop in Jaipur (rajasthan). i have an UTA air rifle also and its barrel much better than IHP.
pellet is not hitting on its head with IHP while whenever i shoot with UTA rifle, pallet is always hitting on its head.

very difficult to find a perfect gun every brand has its own advantages and disadvantages.

well i am planning to replace its spring for more power. i found a spring on target tune India.

http://target-tune.in/international/pro ... POWER.html

if you have experience with this spring, PLEASE SHARE

I had been following up wid Hassanand Hemandas & Co. for the past one week. Earlier they said that the IHPs are not available. it wil be available within a week. They had quoted me the price that M35 0.177 is for Rs. 4800 and m35 .22 for Rs 5500. I was happy about the price of 0.177..

Today, i mean just now i called those guys again and they confirmed the stock of IHP and quoted Rs 5500/- for .177 and Rs. 6000/- for a 0.22

definitely my budget is not more than 5k.. Now the only hope is once Aimco confirms the stock the cost of the same should not be more than what is mentioned in the website.. Otherwise that is going to be a tough time for me to decide whether i should go for IHP or else UTA...

Please advice whether the price quoted by H&H co. is genuine or is like they are making a fortune for the artificial scarcity.

i bought IHP 2 days ago from jaipur rajasthan. price is for .22 is 4500 INR. i think 6000 is two much. try authorized dealers for IHP.

http://www.indianhumepipe.com/index1.html

try other brands, you can find better products. check rear sight adjustment, barrel and spring recoil.
