Rather brings out ones curiosity on what's happened to all those prolific world class IOF marvels like Excalibur, Kalantak, MSMC, Trichy Assault Rifles etc. which have in the standard establishment squak- "successfully tried by the Indian Army / successful field trials"

...what would be their definition of successful field trial?... the bullets travel in the general direction you point the gun?

well, it is a bloody scam, according to our government they bough Glock 17 for 1lakh a piece, even if you pay twice the amount for a Glock 17 it would not cost more than $900 a piece.
I believe in second chances… it’s called reloading

According to international accounting firms, India is estimated to have a parallel economy of nearly 40 percent of its $600 billion Gross Domestic
Product.
