WHERE THERE ARE A BILLION NUMBER OF PEOPLE THEY HAVE JUST A 2 OR 3 MODELS OF REVOLVER AND PISTOL.AND THE MANUFACTURING COST OF REVOLVER OR PISTOL IS NOT MORE THAN 5000..

Dear there is an enquiry going on Indian ordanace factories as all the naxalls (terrorists) were using KF ammunation, so from last 8~9 months the factory is not allowed to supply the ammunation to local dealers hence the stock kept with dealers is slowly exhausted and they are charging higher amounts for the same.

I do admire your efforts for the cause.
I wish there were more like you.
Sadly many people who are members here are treating the site as a personalised sales showroom or personalised google service.

Re: SHAME ON INDIAN ORDINACE
Friends, I think the babus at IOF, are making a lot of money by outsourcing or sub contracting the components and only some small final assembly machining is done at the respective factories. As a mechanical engineer, even by using drop forging, CNC machines and producing the revolvers and pistols in 3 triangle finishes with bluing, It will not cost even Rs/- 3000, to mass produce these 750 grams of metal. I think it is high time NAGRI files an RTI application and dig out another multi crore scam and get justice to our countrymen.

Re: SHAME ON INDIAN ORDINACE
I disagree, Kapilj.
We definitely deserve IOF and the gems brought out by this factory. We don't ask for better. We don't question what ever is being brought out by IOF. We just take it lying down. If we can't ask for more, we don't deserve better and we should should shell out the lakhs for the pre-historic relics touted as foreign greatness.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

An enquiry needs to be ordered to know how many of them applied for license for their guns.

I am sorry for putting it so bluntly, Naga, but nobody does that nowadays. Everybody wants somebody else to do it for them.nagarifle wrote:you can take it standing up or laying down, the choice is yours, as they take name and kick ass.
