Nawanshahr, April 21
A Ropar-based woman landed in trouble after she posted her pictures with a dead hare and guns on a social networking site, said sources. The Punjab Wildlife Department swung into action after a former honorary wildlife warden, informed the Conservator of Forest (Wildlife), about the matter this morning.
Taking a serious note, he directed the Divisional Forest Officer (Wildlife), Ropar, to hold an inquiry following which the person involved was summoned by the DFO.
Please be careful when you upload pictures on any blog or any social networking site .

Thousands of animals and birds have lost their habitat because of illegal mining in karnataka, timber mafia, land grabbing and other such activities all over the country and here these chaps are worried about one hare.
In todays paper i saw that there are only 9 Great Indian bustards left in the wild due to loss of habitat.
Why cant they stop all those.
