I am pretty confused by seeing this gun of 'James Birdy'.
Mehul, Grumpy, do u guys have any idea about this manufacturer 'James Birdy' ?

Danish,
Try Purdey? Maybe a hassle with the pronounciation ... ;)
Mauser and doubles are ok, but that Liberator style pistol-looks like a magazine type, but with no details, and the crude design, I really wonder if the lady in question (who could afford millions of dollars of diamonds, has shot tigers officially) would be the real owner of this piece-a bit tongue in cheek!!

I also think that this auction web site is cheating. When he can't pronounce the correct spelling of purdey, then how come i believe that these guns belong to royal families of jaipur.

if the guy is giving a discount on such antiques , i guess he is definately a fake. the weapons are in a pretty bad shape.
