Can someone guide me as to from where in New Delhi I could purchase snap caps/ cpnvectors for my shotty ?

Hi joydeep,please go to any Gun shop and i am sure you would get them there.Gsmith has made snap caps and every Gun shop has them.

You know you can make your own snap caps?
The way I would do it here would be to load a cartridge sans powder and primer. Then take an eraser from a pencil, trim it down to fit and superglue it into the primer pocket.
In most cases, you should be able to do it with a spent cartridge too.
Once the eraser wears out, just scrape the primer pocket out and fit a new piece of eraser in.

With a semi automatic pistol, you can also just use a foam earplug tucked in between the hammer and the firing pin. This will prevent the hammer from impacting the firing pin so even if you have a firearm with an older or brittle firing pin, it should cause no damage.
