My test with BARSKA SPOTTING SCOPE
Attached are a few snaps below that are shot with my digital camera. The subjects were not as close as they are very deceptively appearing to be in the pictures - in reality they were about 125 meters away from the camera.
What I did was merely to test if a decent enough picture could be shot through the SPOTTING SCOPE without any accessories. To test this what I did were: stood the spotting scope on its tripod --> held the camera by the hand --> kept the camera lens very close to the eyepiece --> switched-off the flash --> shoot.
Hope you will enjoy the results.
PS: The camera is a normal digital camera

Re: My test with BARSKA SPOTTING SCOPE
Hey, I have a better and proven method of using your normal digital point and shoot cameras. I have a Nikon Coolpix and I use a monocular which fits perfectly on to the lens, all you need to do is just zoom in a little bit so that you do not see the dark edges of the lens in your screen and just shoot.
I always use this when I am in the field and see some deer, elk or antelope at a distance. I will post some pictures I have taken with this technique. I have been doing this for almost 5 years now and I do not find a need to buy a new camera with those expensive lenses. But again I am just a casual photographer not the serious kind at all and I am contend with the results.
