.177 firearm as in a licensed weapon? That would make it the .177 WMR among the newer calibers and someone might have the old .177 Liliput inherited as a family heirloom. Would be interesting to learn if anyone would actually have it.

Bapu....it could be 17 HMR high velocity
in U.S. ppl uses it for vermin control...... Prey list includes Coyote, Prariry Dogs, ground squirrel at long ranges due to its flatter trajectory
