Some old airguns
These belonged to my dad in his younger days..........he's 72 now. Don't know if anybody would appreciate them in todays world of high power PCPs and stuff.

Saptarshi,
In case you didn't notice........it's got an invisible trigger! Seriously, it's missing a trigger assembly.

Ah! That Webley...I have a partially intact one that I plan to restore when I get an unbroken stretch of free time. Good to see a fairly well kept one.
I also have a partially intact 'Gem' air rifle that looks somewhat like the diana... which is also due for a similar treatment as the webley.
I love old stuff.
Look after the things bro and make the old man proud. Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
cc

Yep I missed it , Intially I thought the trigger spring is missing so its actually alinged with the groove. Mine is functional but bluing is gone, Also the brass tube inside the barrel is seems to be little bit oversize due to age and firing lots of pellets.Katana wrote:Saptarshi,

Re: Some old airguns
Would love to get my hands on a Webley Tempest. A cousin of mine had it and I always salivated on it!
Anyway, this particular Webley was given to me by my grand mum. She had bought it from Tahir Arms, Bombay, in the early '40's for my father.

Re: Some old airguns
Guys,
Thank you. I really thought that people would be more interested in raw power and accuracy these days, but the idea of shooting with something which was meant as more of a toy is something else. In fact, I still practice with the Webley at night. In virtual darkness on a metal target (could be anything) and it's till accurate!
