Vikram, hi there - am just putting up some hunt pics (preparation). Unfortunately, was a downer, but that happens with wild boar. I have long stopped pictures until I saw your Forum.
I usually hunt alone, and track pig trails. Sometimes it takes many trips.

In Portugal, there is also hare/rabbit and the usual birds, mainly partridge but also quail.
The main thing is that practically the entire country (lots of forest and shrubland here) is marked out as hunting zones.

Wow. That's quite a collection.
I liked your Blaser R-93 as well. What do you hunt with that rifle?
and BTW . You don't look 51. Look much younger.

Hi Prashant,

Blaser is for just about everything here, because I have .270 - in 160 grains it is perfect for moose and at 130 for wild boar.
I have a .416 barrel too, but there is no game in Europe large enough. Most ranges here do not allow it either. So it basically sits idle.
Having said that, I also like the .30-30 for wild boar, and have used it for moose - which is probably its max. capacity.

Thanks for the age comments. It is the hunting - and biking. Have done 600,000 kms by bike so far. Hope to touch a million before Judgement Day - not the one this May though !

Best regards

Tosh

That's what I was wondering.

600,000 by road is fantastic. Where all have you been ? or should I say.....Where all have you NOT been.

Hi Prashant, Biking all over except Australia. If you wish type 'Globalist Sheshabalaya BMW' in Google to get a 2-part piece on a trip Brussels-Bulgaria.
Am off Algarve to Geneva Tuesday on another bike ride and then hopefully, when back, take pictures this time of a wild boar kill.
Will post pics.
Fingers crossed.

Nice collection tsheshabalaya ...lucky chap.

Yes, navi, we imported a couple of thousand 58's in the mid 80's. They are still in service.
