Hello AGN
I am always available for a sincere and hard working student. However, I suggest that we meet up in Satara, where you can stay overnight. This will be in June sometime. So till then persevere as you have been doing.
The other thing is, you mentioned that one day you jumped to 63%? Analyse, that session and boil down to the reasons for the improvement. Write it down in your diary and then incorporate these in your DAILY trg. session.
Best Regards

Will proceed so as you advised. @ Satara in June it is then. Meanwhile, hopefully, I should progress into the 60s. Thanks a ton. :D

Hello hvj1,

Its great to find so much of information on pistol shooting, you are doing an amazing job of helping all of us here in learning the sport. Thank you.

I am planning to get into air pistol shooting and have a complete newbie question:-

If I decide on purchasing an air pistol should I go for a basic SSP or a high end PCP and if it is a high end PCP should it be a mechanical trigger or an electronic trigger? Would like to hear your opinion (without the cost factor and purely from a learning point of view).

Thanks

Hello SNiper
Thank you very much for your kind words.
1. First and foremost, do me te favour of sending me the photograph (higher MB) on [email protected]. Love cats and love the picture.
2. Buy a high end PCP is you wish to get into competitive shooting.
3. I always recommend the manual trigger, if any thing goes wrong with the electronic, it is pretty difficult to overcome it.
4. Steyr or Morini is a good choice.
5. If you need help procurring the same let me know, my friend Vishwajeet will get it for you.
Best Regards

i have shot almost guns in all bores the only differace i have found is the recoil in bigger bores gets the better of me especially big bore pistols so i have settled down with.32....hat should be the tendancy to shoot straighter while moving.

Hello Hornet,
I guess when we are younger, we tend towards the heavier calibers,as we mature and our shooting skills improve, some of us prefer the lower calibers, Quite simply because of the confidence that we can hit what we aim at and that too quite effectively.
My personal preference is the .22 WMR. Speer have recently come out with a new hollow point WMR, which is specificaly designed for the pistol (smaller barrels). This is a very mean round and I prefer the WMR any day to the .375s and the .44s, .45s.

If your hand is going right or left, then you are jerking the trigger. Sit with the pistol and just keep cocking it and practice squeezing the trigger, do it till you can do it without anything moving. Remember to lock your wrist, please read up on this, before you raise the pistol. Guess HVJI will fill in the rest.
