Re: NRAI Permission for selling Imported Air rifle
First off, AFAIK there is no requirement to notify anyone when selling your imported air rifles and pellets, whether duty was paid or not because there is no requirement to. Is there a specific law or rule that you are referring to?
Duty may have been exempted on the merit that it is for personal use for target practice.
Permission for selling firearms imported by renowned shots is required but AFAIK there is none for air rifles. But please do check with others as I am neither a lawyer nor an expert in these matters.
Regards,
Anand
