True enough. However, the M1889 exists as a separate design and action, not just "technically". I readily believe that some minor parts are interchangeable between the Model 1911 and the K31; with emphasis on the minor. The main point is, though, that the muzzle cap does not belong on the K31. That cap is different. As you will see when you get home. Cheers.

Yup. Must be those HOT peppers....and after starting it, he just sits back and smiles. Won't tell which one. Perhaps, he doesn't know?

This is a muzzle protector for a Swiss K-11. I have several K-31 muzzle protectors and they are totally different.
I found several sites selling them, the link to AIM surplus has them.
