Of course, you are quite right, I agree; the original SUDDEN series was by Oliver Strange - they were definitely much, much better than the Frederick H. Christian ones that followed. Although all things considered, FHC did a pretty good job of carrying on OS's legacy of Sudden.

My avatar actually has both the names mentioned but the original author's name is in a larger font. Some more information on Western Authors and books - should make for a lovely discussion.

I understand that this image is an artists impression of the warriors of the day. One can only imagine the plight of the enemy ( suddenly confronting 500 such guerrilla warriors attacking at all at one go!!)
