Like to see some pics?

Bit of an ugly duckling but in good condition and only done 150 shots.

Already found a lot of info, so for anyone who would be interested here it is:

12 bore, over-under.
Weight: 2.5 kgs.
Barrel length: 26"
Overall length: 43"
Both barrels have muzzle breaks and are fully ventilated. Not sure about the ventilated bit.
2 3/4" chamber.
Chokes are skeet and skeet
Bluing: 93% or excellent as per gun-shop or local expert.
Imported on March 23, 1999.
Entered on xxxx's licence on 9.9.99.
Number of rounds fired to date: 6 boxes X 25 = 150 rounds.
Number of rounds available: 1 sealed box of Eley + one opened box with 6 or 7 shells remaining. These were the two boxes that were given to xxxx along with the gun.
xxxx has only used imported cartridges in this gun.
History: xxxxxxx Rifle Club (xRC) had placed an order for one skeet and one trap Browning shotgun with NRAI. Unfortunately, NRAI sent them a Brno trap and skeet gun apiece. xRC told NRAI that they only wanted Brownings and that they would put the Brnos on auction. This is how xxxx happened to get a new skeet gun.

Incidentally, it's as good as sold.

Relax Dev, lest you get giddy with delight. I cannot afford any such toy. These inquiries are on behalf of a friend.

Will put up some pics in a bit.

1.55 Lakhs, Darn, where is Satpal, "The Jat without the GAPP", when you need him ;). I really miss the guy.

That is an interesting looking gun. I like the porting at the muzzle, must be a pain to clean though. I had porting on my Browning, cleaned it with Pipe cleaners, bit of a pain. All my current ones have no ports. I don't need them yet, maybe later when I get older and can't handle the recoil. Congratulations.

Mack The Knife,

Not quite a classic gun in appearance but being a Brno it should be very well put together. The Cutts type compensator should also reduce recoil to almost nothing though it should be noisy to shoot. I would use a spray type cleaner to clean the compensator and barrel if it were my gun.

Very nice buy and please pass my congratulations to your friend who now owns it.

Cheers!

hi,

i once had a indian made side by side gun (i think it was KHURMI) that had ventiliated/ ported barrels just like the ones on this brno. that gun was a the best indian made gun i have ever seen, had very mild recoil and was a decent gun for skeet shooting, it even had a two piece ejecter that worked flawlessly and it piad about rs 23000 for it brand new.

:)
