2010 Pa deer
This is my first attempt at posting a picture.
This is the whitetail deer that I harvested on my property, 300m from my house. December 6, 08:00, 16cm of snow, -7c, no wind. A perfect day.
I was using a Ruger No.1 International chambered in 270 Win. with peep sights. In my opinion this is one of the most beutiful production rifle.

Good shot Hunter65. That is one good looking rifle.

Congratulations,Hunter65.That is a very nice deer you got there. The Ruger No.1 is a dandy of a rifle. One question.Looking at the length of the barrel, how is the recoil and muzzle blast with the .270? Nice rifle,a good day to hunt and a nice deer at the end. What more can you ask!

Good job.
And at least you can use your rifle for deers in your state. My state doesn't allow that

Re: 2010 Pa deer
I will answer your questions,
Conty1: In the area of New York I hunt in is shotgun only, they almost allowed rifles in this area a few years back. I wanted to use my M1A so bad. But have you thought of using a Muzzleloader?
Shooter: I did not score the rack, rough guess 140 B&C, 3 1/2 year old deer. The best three days of hunting thus far, I never fired a shot, the fourth best day was this deer.
Prashantsingh: DIstance was 80-90 m away, from a tree stand 5 m high.
Vikram: I will try to use your instructions to post pictures of my TC Contender, Ishapore 2A that I converted into a scout rifle and others. Muzzle blast - YES!, Recoil - YES! It is unpleasant to sight in but in the heat of the moment, I'm total unaware. I would compare it to a Russian M-44.
More to come............
