Dear Moderator,
Would it be a bad idea to create a separate space to document all case judgments as given by different High Courts or Supreme Court of India in favour of possession of fire arms ? As it has come under notice that members keep on posting such judgments, but kept fragmented.
It would eventually help to get those from this resource for clarifications, filling petitions etc, as I have not seen such comprehensive resource any where.
This would eventually increase your burden any way. but would be the ONLY RESOURCE FOR ALL.
Thanks

Re: Landmark Judgements
I like your idea swajan. . In fact am trying to collect all stuff related to guns in the courts as well as media. It would make it a whole lot easier for anyone to look at it at one go. Most of the cases would be related to the non issuance of a license in the case of a legitimate applicant. There are of course many related to import, number of firearms allowed, delay in issuance, deposit during elections etc. But yes all or links to all can be put as "Firearm(Licensing ) Related Cases or such title and can be made a sticky in the legal section.
Mods please help..

See the pathetic incidents, unlicensed guns in the hands of crooks. And legitimate demand for self defense is being deprived. It is a story throughout India.
