Movie:The Inception
I just finished watching The Inception .It’s a very well made movie without and very unique.
If anyone has not seen the movie, I would recommend not reading this because it has spoilers in it.
As soon as the movie is finished everyone is wonders what does the ending means?
I thought that Michael Caine was a therapist (shrink...I would like to know what "Shooter" think of this) and Leonardo was his subject and it was all about exploring Leo's mind and his thoughts in different level of dreams. Why would Leo come to his Caine to ask for someone new, When he had access to much more people than him and why was the girl introduced by Michael Caine called Ariadne was so eager to help Leo and there are too many hints and questionable instances in the movie, which would make this a long post and in any case internet is filled with different theories.
Now more I think of it the more convinced I am, that all this movie is a brilliant lie. If a lair is smart enough he can have enough loopholes in his lie to the other party to throw them off the scent and provide decoys to form sequence of a logical solution. This is what most mystery writer like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie etc and major institutions, government etc have done and In the end they come up with even smarter way to sideline the most stressed decoys and form one line of logical solution, I am sure that will be the case until or if we see sequel or prequel of "The Inception".
It is amazing how in last few decades our mind have been filled with so much Chaos, suspicion, discomposure and fear of unknown and movies are clear example of it.

I thought the movie was predictable and inane.

After all the hype, I was deeply disappointed with what I thought was a poor man's Matrix. Barring a few visual gems, I agree it was quite inane, and formula driven, considering the director's earlier offerings.
The good thing about it was Hans Zimmer, and the parodies it has inspired.....

obviously, South park could not resist either...........in the hilarious episode "Insheeption",

the key lies in the spinning totem in the last scene

Re: Movie:The Inception
I admit, I liked Inception. It gave me the strong impression of watching a Salvador Dali painting that had been turned into a movie. I did not get that impression at all from other films. I also like the acting of Di Caprio. I had a lot of fun watching it, altho I was not fooled at the end, either.

in fact, that line of live in dream has some parallel with escapism, it is on huge scale mental modus operandi in developed countries. Total denial of real live in form of grotesque interpretation of everything. Not so common type of characters in India though.

"Inception" put me to sleep. Woke up early and ended up watching "The Departed". Great way to start a day.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

An interesting tit-bit, as I like to track knives and gear used in movies.
