Look at this ad. They list Glock 23's for $499.99. http://www.impactguns.com/store/glock23.html
..or here for $459: http://www.glockworld.com/category/870-Glock_40sw.aspx
You need to check more gun stores and don't go back to the two that you visited if you want a Glock. You need to go to someone who is actually a dealer for Glock if you want a good price.
I got hold of a gunshop which is 30 some miles from me. He is gonna Glock 23, so I will go up there and buy it. I do have plan to bring the gun back in India after years, so keeping that in mind, do I need to get any special documentation from the gun shop to prove that I am owning this gun from certain date so I can prove an year time period when I bring it back home? I just have FOID card right now.

Thanks.

I do not know what FOID card means or says about the ownership of the gun in question. To be on a safer side it is always good to have some kind of paperwork, which says that you are the owner of the gun from such and such date etc., since under TR rules the person bringing in firearm is supposed to be possessing it for certain duration. For exact duration you may check customs website.

sir in law only ban .38 revolver caliber and other name this - revolver caliber - ONLY!

Pistol caliber .380 other name .380 ACP,380 AUTO,9 mm KURZ,9x17 - NOT BAN

In INDIA ban ONLY - 1 pistol caliber - 9x19 or 9 mm Para or 9 mm Luger or 9x19 NATO

For what doing 6 min video about NOTHING? and UP topic discuss 10 years ago?
