IFG?? surely not, more like GFI

Posts that don't fit into any other category. If it's anything to do with guns, it probably doesn't belong here!

First move on test forum, if everything functional move real forum on Vbulletin. if admin can consider giving me IFG data base, backup I can show how forum will look and function on Vbulletin.
what is the cost etc? as someone would have to pay. since members of IFG are not paying for IFG but some man/women is paying. we need to look at the cost factor as well.

it does sound good though.

if you say it can not be done, then you are right, for you, it can not be done.

At this rate our beloved forum will become 'guns for Indians' rather than .

The Forum does become a little 'dry' when noted and regular contributors slow down their contributions. obviously due to changing priorities in life. When I switch on my internet and go on to our forum (to get my daily dose)

Hi hv,i do tend to agree with you on the drying out part, chiefly because you must be real busy, sleepy, irritable et all with the New Baby in the house ,hope he is doing great and keeping you up all night ,Zubin must have been off celebrating X-mas and New Year, with his just done up 30-06,so not much contribution from a cpl of esteemed members so IFG has gone dry

Nags, Old Man, I didnt know that I am on top of the esteemed list, :o if so, I am quite comfortable with that 8) . And to make things a tad bit more comfortable for hunters, I have this to say- I may or may not be an anti, but I am not out to convert anybody. You do your thing and I'll do mine :D

Amit357,
Old Chap, you hit the nail on the head.

Dear Subal Das,
Your suggestion is perhaps the most Value added suggestion of the year.

First of all, I have been through the Vbulletin site, I dont know much about software (other than when alluding to the fairer sex). On perusing the vbulletin site, I did not come across 'chat rooms'. Please correct me if I am wrong. I think a chat room, is very important and a lot more exciting. So if this vbulletin cannot accomodate this feature, then are there any other/better softwares?

Secondly, $300/- is not a very big deal, some of us can put up the whole lot on our own, without any STRINGS attached. What is more important is that the IFG owner should agree and or our administrators and moderator/ senior blokes could hold a council to take the appropriate decision.

Finally, I am moving this discussion to a new thread, where we can take an opinion poll and suggestions for improvement from others.

Thanks you Subal Das, for raising this topic.

Regards
