Hi,

I just got my new IOF 30-06 model 2010, price 1.2K. Will test fire it by saturday or sunday and will see the performance like recoil etc. Pics follows............

Congrats! This one has a better stock than mine has. Is this a 2010 model? Seems to have an integral rail too. Do you intend to scope it? What about the bolt? Does it cycle freely or will it require to be lapped?

first of all congrats denzill maathew for the iof .3006 rifle,i am also going to buy the same gun on monday,is that right decission for buying the iof.3006 ? i am little bit of confused......i am getting this at 1.15k from ludhiana

Go for it Darashp! This is 2010 model and much better then prevoius models. Price is also acceptable.
Yes it has integral rail. The bolt little tight while loading the Gun.

very nice gun look like there is a rail on the gun for scope , i like this stock batter then yellow pine color, can you post one more picture of your gun from the top view of the rail and can you tell me the size of the rail. Please help me on this.

Please email me some of picture of the top view and side view from both side, because my cousin buy 3006 couple of month ago and he whant a scope and rings, i am comeing to India in Oct. and i am going to bring with me a scope and rings. Denzil,

Baljit requires exact measurements to pick up rings. Measure the rail , both inside and at the top, with a caliper and post the figures please. Would appreciate it.

This will save you the mounts as the rings can be attached directly onto the rail.

Why don't you chaps pay the 21,000 or so required for an NRAI life membership and get it from them at approx 80,000/- in stead? From the looks of it, you'll save money (based on the quoted prices) and have a NRAI life membership to boot!

congrats , nice rifle! will prove to be quite accurate too since my 2008 model is very accurate. say what metal is the receiver made of in the 2010 model?

Hi mundaire,

I was not knowing that otherwise I would have taken the membership and have ordered through them. As per my knowledge they only supply .315 Bore not 30-06.
