Re: Wildlife Photography
That's a nice little bird fanthum.
Over a period of time I shall put up some of close ups.
Here's the first set.
Like I mentioned , my favourite Surkhaab, has to come in first.

You never have enough zoom to get good bird shots ever...Do you....

Wow! Prashant this is beautiful!!Thanks for posting these .
I personally like number 2 and 7, from the top, the most. # 7 is truly beautiful, it has a such mysterious not to say mystical look to it, the magnificent animal looking out from his home, the woods. So quite and calm
Keep it up!

Wow! Great pics! The first stag looks like he rules the place.... and the little fawn is too cute!
I am still unable to paste pices here, can any of you give me some tips. Only got a few flying seagulls as of now, however.
Cheers!

Re: Wildlife Photography
The fawn snap has a short story behind it. Initially when I spotted them the fawn was suckling it's mother. I tried to get as close to them (and as silently) as possible. But the mother was very alert . As I lifted my camera for that perfect snap , she was spooked. Interestingly this range also has leopards and tigers. All the animals which come in the Tiger's foodchain are really smart. What a shame it will be if we loose the tigers from our jungles.essdee1972 wrote:

We didn't see the KING this time but saw his pugmarks.
I had problems initially posting snaps. Would always ask my friends on IFG to do so for me. Sent u a pm on how to go about it.

esdee1972,
Upload your pics on photobucket.com or flickr.com or picasa.com
After uploading you copy and paste the "share photo" link here.
Here is a very short tutorial for photobucket

Re: Wildlife Photography
@ Prashantsingh, Will try out your idea, thanks. Which forest range is this?
@ fantumfan2003, tried it out with photobucket, the post gave a long string of URL, not the pic. (maybe I clicked the wrong buttons). Will try Picasa now.

Hey this thread is quite refreshing. I have a Nikon D90 and I just bought a small Nikon remote. Its great if you have your camera on a tripod and need to click away.
