A bit of Trek in the Alps
Gentlemen,
on the weekend I had the oppourtunity to trek a bit in the alps, it was a wonderful experience and one worth sharing...
Location:- Brauneck, about 20kms off Bad Tolz, near the Austrain border..
Strarted off with a mild slope..
Making a stop to have some tea and putting on the gaiters for a little more serious walking..and showing a pup its owners..forgot that pups don't understand what fingers point at
Some serious stuff
Some good views, if you can enlarge the pic, you can see me slipping near the bottom right near the trees..
How else to end the trek..some refreshing weiss beer
Some really nice view of the mountains
For someone who visits these parts in winter, a trip to the Alps is definately worth it..and more if you like skiiing..which is something i've never tried yet..
Cheers

Very nice pics, reminds me of my days in New Hampshire's White Mountains. They were so beautiful, I plunked down a grand to buy good photo gear to capture it all. Its amazing, White in winter, green in Spring/Summer and beautiful foliage in the Fall. Some day, I want to have a house in the mountains, and one on the beach, and one on the plains, and one by a river, and one by a lake, with some horses, some chickens, some sheep, a shooting range, lots of wildlife....
