Maybe, he thinks you'll use it to create a state of the art .177 cal self propelled howitzer cannon.

I agree to this, even the dealers have a vague idea when they will receive the fresh consignment. This leaves room for the unscrupulous sellers to hoard these items and charge a exorbitant amount due to the demand.

Recently while purchasing an Air Rifle I was quoted INR 5500 for a rifle that the company sells for INR 3800.

Needless to say that no one in IHP responded to my emails for the purchase of the Air Rifle.

Many thanks to people in this forum that I was able to make the best choice

Call Mr. Makhija on 079 25830221 for your queries.

From today BSNL calls have been made local.

Husen Bhai,

I am waiting for the stock to reach the dealer for my rifle to be shipped. I have been told that it should be arrive by 7th December. Have you gotten any details around this?

Thanks for the inputs

Dear all,
What is the difference between IHP 35 and IHP 35 Deluxe ? The Company's web site does not provide much info. Incidentally, neither does it announce anything about PCP .177 pistol. Here's the link - http://www.indianhumepipe.com/rifle1.html

1. Interestingly, .177 seems to be addressed as "National" while .22 (both models - deluxe and ?) has been addressed as IHP. Outsourced ?
2. The Deluxe seems to have peep sights or something that looks like it while the other is not shown to have the same. Is this the only difference?
3. To practice against a target at 10m would IHP 35 (range 35m) v/s National (25 range 25m) really matter ? The range is cited on Company's site.

They have stopped fixing peep sights on Break barrel air rifles.

IHP air rifles are in (.22) and National (N -25 and N-35) are in .177

IHP stands for Indian Hume Pipe the Co. name. Its not outsourced.

i saw a few of these rifles in .177 and .22 cal at lodhi sports in delhi, last evening, all priced at Rs5000, i wasnt impressed with the finish and the quality. so i let them be, id rather pay a little more and get something american, but ideally id pay a lot more and get something to last a lifetime :D i want to introduce my 8 year old son to 10m air rifle shooting, but lodhi didnt even stock targets, where do i get those?

Dear Sir,

So after a huge discussion you did succeed in placing a scope over your rifle,
did you use the JB weld or you something else to fix it up?
