'sood tanni' is your best friend. just immerse and let be for 15 -20 min, remove and dry in sun repeat every few days.Or, a 6 inch PVC pipe, seal off one end, put stock, fill up with acetone, cover and leave for a couple of hours, remove check and try again. Do not leave for very long periods.

Respected 'Thambi'
A great surprise for me in the forum for ' Karur Anna', Vanakkam,'sood tanni'
Thank you very much for it.'Nanri Nanri'
I am not open the mail still, after read it,my feedback and enquiry will be made.
Thank you very much once again Sir,I am not able to release from post for a long time for that words.
I came across the forum, hot water to release the excess oil from the furniture.
To test,a small piece of wood is immersed in oil and waiting for hot water treatment.
Thank you Sir,
Regards
R.Mani

Re: wood and stock modification info
Dear eljefe,
Today i had tested hot water treatment for two small pieces of wood ( immersed in oil filled electrical transformer ) and discharged heavy oil.
After half an hour it was kept dried in sunlight.
Tomorrow i will repeat the process until the oil is fully discharged and also to watch the wood condition.
Thank you very much Sir

Re: wood and stock modification info
Ram Mani, remember to remove the stock from the action & barrel!
yup, bring the water to a bslow , rolling boil, then immerse. keep for 20-30 min and remove, wipe oil with cloth, dry in sun for a couple of dyas. Then repeat.DONT dry out the wood completely-it may crack.Oil does have a protective/sealant function too.
Same with acetone.
you will have to refinish the wood using 600-800 grade wet & dry sandpaper
