New Shaktiman ball or Slug

I have just seen a new cartridge of shaktiman of slug different from older one sealed with a needle one. It has big ball spreading at the mouth but surrounded by metal .I asked about the difference I was told that other type the older one has more stopping power and sound but newer one can cause much more damage as this bursts on hitting the target by spreading splinters and has less sound, please if some one has used this one should come forward with experience.

There is nothing new in it, these type of ball ammo is manufactured by Shaktiman for several decades now.

You just buy few rounds and try it on some target like wood block and will know , if what the dealer says is true.

D,Singh either of them are a piece of crap,last i checked, ammo that explodes/bursts on contact was called Devastators in the 22 and was used on Mr Ronald Regan when he was the US Prez,that also didnt work.Please dont take the sale talk given by the A/A Dealers too seriously,they are just trying to make some money.Go for the Mirage Slug in the 12 bore,if you really need a projectile which has the caliber bigger then a 50 BMG , weighs more then 500 grains, with a muzzzle velocity of 1400 FPS and further a SP and still you want it to spilter, boss you are not shooting right,with that kind of Energy if going after Pigges you just would need to hit them and for anything else-------,its curtains.Shaktiman uses some of the cheapest Gun Powder this side of Equator and it messes up guns,further the loading is so erratic that one cartridge would feel like its gonna take out ones arm,and the next goes off like a babys fart

I have had a bad experience with only one so far - but i havent fired too many of those either.

Hi snIPer,if you value your gun,hand,arm,etc etc (plz dont my starting with the Gun,twisted limbs would put us out for a cpl of days,a screwed up Gun is gonna hurt more),please dont use this ammo.Get the Mirage one it is pretty good.
