Have they switched from one brand of grill paint to another?

We have been hearing old saying since ages that" jis halwaai ka dhhodh bikta hai wo bhala dahi kyoon banayega " since IOF are having same approach but as old people who have more sarkaari mindset are getting retired day by day and new generation is coming sure some day innovative people in iof may break away sarkaari lla feeta shahi and stand up against old mindset and the day is not far away....if we indians who have one of the biggest market for arms and ammunition in govt as well as private sector the scenario gonna change and may be in five years we may get good quality stuff that can match world standards....

Even the dacoits do not use IOF guns/ammunition anymore because they are unreliable.

u guys brought tears to my eyes laughing... what a sense of humor :D

@ ashwani_jan: First & foremost, u should feel really lucky if you hear a BANG instead of a click. You always have an element of doubt at the time of pulling the trigger with 'sarkari' stuff.

I think maximum fatal distance is some 35 feet... never tried though :D .. however, shot placement plays a very vital role.

Hi guys,
Regards to all, I booked revolver in Chandigarh on 18 sept.they gave me priroity no and promised to get revolver by dec. but now they r noncommital and says they have got supply of less revolvers and told me that Iam 213 behind actual numbers supplied , and said that Kanpur factory can give u accurate period. I regret the mistake of booking at chandigarh due to my professional work load although I have all india arm license, earlier last month they were hopeful of getting the supplies by this month or next month. Any idea if some one have my purchase period is upto 25 feb and Iwas lucky to get addition as only 2 additions were allowed in Aug in Punjab. Perhaps it is only state in india which has enforced the home department directions whole heartedly.

Hey guys, finally managed to get license for revolver, and went looking for a .32 revolver (didn’t like the five year condition on a new one) any ways, got my hands on an unfired 2004 mk1 FGF revolver not even a scratch on it, paid 1.25 (no bargains  ) anyway no misfires so far, I can hit a beer bottle from 10mts (in double action), in single action trigger pull makes its impossible to shoot straight forget the bottle, it’s not a smooth shooting weapon at all, but as the say beggars can’t be choosers. Would love to buy .22 revolver (imported one) in nice condition, which is almost impossible in India :deadhorse: .

I think you got the single action and double action terminology mixed up... otherwise congratulations.
