Now...Now...Remember gentlemen, we're talking about MoA not Moa.... now you wouldn't want the feds to raid my humble home for something that goes on in République Française....or elsewhere for that matter....

Whenever that question is asked, I like to joke and say; "Only enough for three days sustained fire".

It is unfair to compare the unlimited amount we can buy (just like any other commodity). But even I enjoy being awed by someone else's massive private stash, and I have plenty. After all, those Zombies aren't going to kill themselves.
It has been mentioned many times before, about not being able to own enough ammo with which to practice with in order to become proficient, whether for sport or self defense. It's like a resturant preparing your most favorite food, then being allowed to eat only one forkfull.
On the safety issue, it is folly for the government to not allow unlimited ammo at a fair price, at least to practice with. Taking baby steps, winning one battle at a time may be one way to do it. Finding like-minded lawmakers is important, even in the US, because no one is safe from the anti-gun groups, which includes the UN and EU.

CzHarry:

The EU is not the UK, and certainly not anti-gun. I know for I live in the EU, where even though the prices are higher than the US, gun culture does thrive and is well accepted.

MOA show your treasure to CZHarry. Or give him link to the thread where you have shown your crackers (although we envy that)
