Hi Kirici, seen your shotguns, shot with them,i personelly find them better then SKBs and the Rugers { Red Label},but now the kicker,in INDIA import of Guns is not allowed, you cannot find distributers in India for the simple reason its not allowed, noone from Australia is selling shotguns here,if there are any change in the law,i will be the 1st one to let you know.Like eljefe said i think your wood to metal finish is as good as Berrata or Browning.

Is it possible for someone like Kicker to have a technical collaboration with a gun manufacturer in India (like Khairudin). And Kicker can earn handsomely from the collaboration in the form of royalty. The import of steel tubes is allowed.
If someone really wants to do then I feel an international standard gun can be manufactured here itself.
Since shotgun manufacturing is being done in the private sector then why isn't anybody making an initiative.

Hi Prabhdeep, its the attitude of Indian Gun manufactures that stinks,i can bet my last dollar that they have been contacted for this before, its not really Rocket Science that is involved in producing a good gun,for that matter IOFBs are producing a 32 Revolver/Pistol after copying the same from Webley and Browning,i had a Browning in the 380 which was about 80 years old, used to address the pistol as Ji :D ,my friend took it from me a cpl of years back and still has it and is using the same, works like no IOFB Pistol can work, its very easy for Gun Manufactures to make DBBLs from Mehar Singh in Jammu to MGM in Bihar, but quality is not an issue with them because it sells, they hold on to advance money from dealers for an year or so and then sell them the guns, and the metallury which is required to produce quality guns would just mean a cpl of Ks more. You have people paying a cpl of lacs for a imported shotgun and am sure if we have a quality gun in the market people wont mind paying Rs 50,000/ for it instead of buying a knocked up Berrata ,Biakal,Browning for a cpl of lacs.A Mehar Singh O/U made when old man Mehar Singh was doing the needful was sold for Rs 45,000/- in Patiala last year, the guy who owns it now, wont trade it for anything.? Mehar Singh took pride in the Guns he made, with him gone .
Kriici,hi i am still not very sure that what you wanna do would be legal,if you see the quality of shotguns made here, boss you would run so fast from Turkey that by the time you realise what happening you would be near the North Pole,if you plan to market your Guns with a Indian Name they still wont let you do that. Here its a long story and it ends with a sad note :deadhorse:
