ketan82 wrote:Dear All,

Thanks for the valuable reply the scope rail i had ordered from one of my friend john and rest the mounting & installation has been done by myself.
i didnt drilled the holes to fix the rail but JB WELD did the fixing for me it is nothing but an adhesive just like your araldite which fix two metals rock hard.
it takes only 24 hrs to dry & rest is history damn good.

sure i will post pics soon with results.

thanks & Regards
ketan

Hi Ketan and all,
Amaze to hear about JB WELD from Ketan. Me too wanted to fix scope rail in my IHP M35 .22 which I have been keeping it since many days. Actually, the rail has been lying un-used as I am not interested going for drilling. Please tell me, Is JB WELD a name of gunsmith workshop or a name of product ? I would like to do with my air rifle as Ketan's.

Here you go Sokkri,

http://jbweld.net/products/jbweld.php

it is a product -not sure if it is available in India - maybe in metros.
If you have anyone coming in from US ask them to get it for you, failing which Araldite will be your next best choice.

Forget the drilling - JB weld will do the job.

Hi SnIper,
Thanks a lot for enlightening me. Would like to know from members if they have any JB Weld tubes available with them. I am here to have it, even used tube (sufficient to hold one scope rail) will also do.

Welcome.
Best put your requirement up in the Wanted section - it will have more visibility there :-)

when it comes to spring-airguns, yes, a bit of effort and a bit of money can get you a world class airgun, shooting nothing less than 800 FPS and consistent too. the cost can be considered feeble considered to the Indian Price of Foreign guns!!.
