Look up "disassembly of Lee-Enfield rifle " on Google...

Taking of the forend

1.Remove the magazine
2.Check that there is no round in the chamber.
3.Remove the small screw going through the trigger guard.
4.Remove the screw ahead of the magazine
5.Remove the screw going through the base of the rear sight( in the forend)
6.Now push down from the top at the rear of the forend where it meets the butt socket

Warning:- NEVER try to pull off the forend from the front or you will crack the wood at the rear.

Taking off the butt stock
1.Remove the recoil pad.
2.Using a Long screw driver and a wrench unscrew the bolt .
3.Hit the butt with the palm of your hand but not very hard, if the butt refuses to budge even after you have unscrewed the bolt
