That's a beautiful one, Gaurav. Any update on the history?? Do share the pics of your other guns.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

Re: My 470 rigbys
Gaurav,
Contacting Californian Rigby wont be of any help simple because they do not have the records.
John Rigby and Co. was bought by Paul Roberts in 1984 and then in 1997 he sold the company's records and Intellectual rights to to American investor Neil Gibson and then Neil Gibson in collaboration with Geoff Miller present owner of California Rigby started producing Guns under name of John Rigby & Co.At that point of time Neil Gibson only gave Geoff Miller Intellectual rights of Rigby not the Historic records and Neil Gibson later got into litigation with Geoff Miller because he did not pay anything to Neil Gibson.
In meantime in the company did not renew their registered name John Rigby and Co. in U.K and the company name John Rigby and Co.lapsed in 2002 and the the present owners of "London Rigby" registered the name and established the company.Interestingly Geoff Miller never had Historic Records because Neil Gibson still owns them and Neil Gibson decided to back "London Rigby" and they are one currently digitalizing the records.

If you still have problems accessing the records drop me a PM I am in touch with the owners and see what I can do.
