Hello from Mumbai
Hi guys! I'm Dr Yajnesh Shetty from Mumbai. I've been lurking on this forum for the past few days going through the different sections and I must say I'm impressed .
I own a Webley Patriot in .25 and a Webley Tempest .22 (in poor condition). Not done any formal target shooting yet, just general plinking.
I am a knife nut like some of the others on this forum too and a wannabe fisherman
Looking forward to learning a lot from you guys.
Yaj.

Re: Hello from Mumbai
Welcome Yajnesh,
Hope to see you post here very often. We all shoot informally - nothing to be apologetic about at all. If you go through the forums you would see that we have been trying to promote informal air rifle matches as an alternative to the formal, expensive and restrictive ISSF stuff in order to make the shooting sports more popular.
Hope to see you here regularly.

Welcome aboard.
Do post about the Patriot in the airgun section. Interesting choice of calibre, especially for India.

Re: Hello from Mumbai
Thanks for the welcome guys!
Yaj.
Well actually from Magnum Arms i had taken a .22 RWS model (i dont remember which one) which turned out to have a problem with the spring. When I returned the rifle I saw the Patriot ( he only had it in .25 cal)and once I held it somehow felt right . I know thats not the best way to choose but I have had no regrets. It is a scourge of the rats in my backyardMack The Knife Bana";p="11316 wrote: Interesting choice of calibre, especially for India.

And a belated greeting from the US too, Yaj!
P.S. I've always had a soft spot too for the Webley series of air pistols!
