Yes the butt is from gunaccessory.com. The butt seems to be solid. Only worry is attached to the gun with two L-key bolts, which may not not be good enough. Although presently it appears to be sturdy. The gun has got ribs, ejectors, no choke and the grip is fibre/plastic but solid.

Every new thing is usually not excepted well in the Indian scenario.
Don't see much wrong except that the execution/design could be better.
A convenience feature.

Is this why as in "why do you say that shooter"
or in reply to the original question as in "WHY  :banghead: " :?:

I personnaly feel it is a practical solution. My requirement was for me to be able to carry the gun in the car but did not want one with a pistol grip. This gives me the best of both even though some menbers feel its ugly. It is not a traditional old 12 bore but i feel it is practical.

Isn't that bad enough ? :D

Convenient carry ? May be .
Convenient to shoot ? NO !

With this folding contraption the firearm will jump and kick like a mule to say the least and it is needless to point out that no effective accuracy can be achieved with this cracker burster.
After some usage this piece is likely to start "rattling" too. So I do not consider it as a practical firearm to own but then that is me. Each to his own . :D

I guess a firearm is not valued on looks! It should fulfill its purpose & the purpose here seems clear, to provide an alternative to home/close quarters defence & convenience in carrying.

I don't see why it would jump & kick, there's a proper butt to keep it in place. People use solo hockey butts with confidence, ideally an iron butt extension should do good.

Its just a single piece butt attached with screw, tighten the screw if it starts to rattle.

This arm is an innovation/evolution/adaptation of the old Guns to suit more needs/requirements.
