My new airsoft bb spring gun

Post by saifdiwan » Sun Sep 26, 2010 9:17 pm

Had gone to Landmark to buy some books today. In the toys section, something caught my eye. It's a spring airsoft BB gun- with metal slider and barrel. It was- love at first sight. Bought it! Have a look. :)

This pistol shoots plastic BBs and doesn't need any external power source. You have to rack the slide every time to load the next BB and cock the spring.
Single shot. Life of pistol is very less, the spring mechanism break easily if you rack the slide roughly.

You're right, miss_3006. Yes, you have to rack the slide each time to load the next BB. That's really boring! :) I bought this gun because I liked it.

Why would a gun lover rack the slide roughly? I'd never treat someone who I love, that bad! :)

Best regards.

Hello Raghav:

The gun shoots really well. Haven't got to check the FPS though. Did some research, and found that it's a cheap Chinese replica of Tokyo Marui Hi capa 5.1 airsoft gun.

Bought it for 550/-. It's "paisa wasool" thing. :)

Best regards,
Saif

Considering the Metal slide and Barrel and overall finishing , I think its a good deal at RS 550/- Does the hammer cock when you rack the slide or its fixed ? Also did you check the barrel if its rifled or smooth ?
Thanks and Regards,
Saptarshi

Hello Saptarshi:

The hammer doesn't cock. Also, the barrel is smooth. It's a fancy toy. :)

Saif

Hello:

I haven't got to check it's power, but it shoots accurately till 20 feet. Shoots plastic BBs, and can't be used for pest control. It's nowhere close to a pallet air gun.

Best regards,
Saif

Saif , congratulations on your acquisition.

How many BBs does the magazine hold ? Can the BBs be reused ?
