Another gun fire and a stone pelting civilian

Gentlemen,

There has been a firing incident outside Jama Masjid, Delhi where 2 Taiwanese tourists were confirmed injured by the 9 mm shots.
There were 2 men on a bike who fired at least 8-9 rounds. One tourist had an injury in leg and the other in the stomach. 1-2 youth at the place ran after the fleeing attackers and threw stones at them. Yet another show of the great immunity of Indian democracy where people have all the power to hit back on an attacker. Imagine how good a piece of stone can outrun the bullets. I'm impressed, again !!

According to the police, the modus operandi suggests meticulous planning in choosing the time, place & extraction strategy. They came from the direction where 100 meters before the firing spot, there was a police station/post.

Regards,
Virendra

Since MHA believes there are only licensed firearms in India and hence issued order dated 31.03.2010 so that no citizen can get arms license, except those belonging to ruling classes like MPs/MLAs and those under credible and provable "threat", licenses must have been issued by MHA to these criminals otherwise how can they be in possession of firearms?

yeah who knows if smone might get frustrated, pick a stone and throw on spill open sm neta's head :D
so stones vitiate the law and order situation.
CUT, next scene:
I'm returning home late, lonely on the dark road.
A stray dog intends to challenge and I sense the danger, timely pick a stone piece, just in case he has the balls to really charge towards me.
Next thing, I'm in jail :) The drunk cop saw that I was suspiciously possessing a dangerous weapon late night.

It is clear from the incident of firing on Foriegn tourist near to Jama Masjid that immient threat is not necessary to a person faced threat of life.Any person can face life threat any time at any place for which he never expected.

The Circular issued by the MHA in July , 2010 to all States inserting conditions for issue of arm license to individuals that " Application will be considered from persons , who may face or perceive grave and imminent threat to their lives" , is against the ground realty and meaningless as can be seen from the above stated incident.

Mr. Chidambaram , Home Minister , Government of India as well as the officials of MHA are requested to withdraw the Circular from the immediate effect , which is also illegal as issued without making suitable amendment in Arms Act or Rule , in the interest of life of general public.

Or is it too much to ask for??? You people high light the sensex closing at a three year high... Why not also high light the ever climbing graph of crime...
