Me too

After a year annd a half of grinding and dremmeling and filling ad infinitum to get the baikal to fit my medium 7degree deviated hand I also need to upgrade . I saw the latest morini add and it said adjustable grip but on asking the company they said only the shelf moves no rake or angle

There is a K10 available but have told my coach to find out if it has adjustment for rake and angle

It seems like the only pistols in the market with rake and side to side angle are the walther and the steyr series

Same rake angle problem with my tau

Hvji what is the solution for short fingers is there a particular place on the grip which on filling will solve this problem the baikal of course had so much wood that one can grind it sown to size

Specific question Does the pardini k10 have a grip adjustable for rake and side to side angle or finally do I have to resign my self to a custom grip as with normal grips my front sight is 6mm to the left

regards sawbones

Hello Sawbones & Jitu,
The IZH is a remarkably accurate pistol and is as accurate as any other competition air pistol. Now, the question is can the very best of shooter, shoot better than the IZH? Debatable, but I am inclined to believe that the pistol shoots better. So the decision to switch to another pistol can be kept aside for some time (till such time your finances permit). And believe me, I have gone through the same experience and organising the finance is always a major project.
Sawbones,
I recommend Nill Griffe grips, the dealer for the same is Chandubhai, whose number is 09820952111. Call him and get the grip of your size. Do not despair,Nill Griffe grips are customised grips.

Hi hvj1 and fellow IFGians,

Its been many months since I logged on to this portal.... had been caught up with work :-(

Have not been able to do much practice either, due to time pressure as well as access to the shooting range (it is far from my place). Despite this I thankfully managed to qualify for GVM and now I wish to buy a personal AP (till now I was using the range's gun).

I am confused abt which gun to buy. I've never used 162 EI but have used LP10 with mech trigger. I am comfortable with the LP10 though. Some folks advised me that maintaining LP10 might be a hassle and only those who are well versed with the technical details of this gun are able to use it effectively.

Also I would appreciate it if you can let me know what wd be the best mode to buy (dealer or direct import). Please share your inputs.

Absolute rubbish, shooters are not rocket scientists and are not expected by the manufacturer's of world class air pistols to be so. What is definitely true is that on the shooting range, you will find a lot of rocket scientists, who shoot rockets in all direction. If you are happy with the LP-10, go ahead. The Morini Mechanical trigger is also excellent, forget what the rocket scientists tell you.
Buy from Vishwajit Shinde, will save the hassles of direct import.
Best Regards

:-) ..... well they were well meaning rocket scientists so I don't blame them. Thanks for the clarification. How do I get in touch with Mr. Shinde ? and does he facilitate purchase of both steyr and Morini ?

About my daily practice, I am hardly able to take out 1/2 hr for my shooting training ( light yoga and holding exercises) at home and on weekends I go to the range for about 2 hours . What routine should I follow with these time constraints?

nmoharir,
Adapt the novice training programme to your requirements. In my opinion anyone who says that a steyr requires a shooter with indepth technical knowledge for using it is a bloody fool, well meaning or not. Secondly, you must also find out, whoever is giving you advise, what his/her antecedents are? Dont accept supposedly well meaning advice at face value.
Vishwajit 09869165683 Yes he can import either or any other brand for you.

Hi Guruji,

Have had a non training week due to work and Delhi traffic jams. Shot a score of 87 with great difficulty. Isn't it amazing how a few point can be so heart breaking? :)
Need to again do trigger work and 'holding practice' back to white belt again.

Regards,

Dev

hey Dev

Sorry buddy you feel that my signature seems to be irresponsible, to you . However, i guess my primary focus remains the same, to let know that guns don't operate by themselves ! And, as a matter of fact, I've been using it since the day i opened my account and never been pointed by any moderator till date.

Anyways, i would rather stick to my guns and signature , kindly ignore the out-of-sight possibilities.

Regards
Guru-dev !

Hi Mr.Lion,

Okay that was not a request. Nor am I overly sensitive, we stand for responsible gun ownership. I once again ask you to change your signature. I am not any guru shuru just a moderator doing my job. I don't give rat's #$% if the other moderators picked it up or not. Hope you get my hint.

Dev
