they are aggrssive, show pack behaviour and can ward of foxes. i hope you mean the real fox because in general we call all these guys fox, but there are wild dogs, red tailed dogs, fox and wolf that are common in our forest. Domestic dogs (a pack of them) are good against fox and red tailed dogs.

and for food and vaccination, meat is not a daily requirement, when young feed them bones, i am sure beef and pork bones will find its way to you for almost no price from butchers. vaccination for rabies will hold good for an year, and the local veterinary doctor (Govt) can administer them at low cost.

and one more thing, you dont want dogs to be the next issue, so neuter /spay them once they are 4 -5 months..

But dear friends how are we going to save the fish from dogs?
regads
babu
that was exactly what i was trying to say, u cant be with them 24/7, if that was the case you would nt need dogs

Had been to Hamburg in Germany, was living in a small village called siek, there a neighbor , to protect his small 10x10 feet plot of carrots from wild rabbits used to run a toy train all night on the tracks which he had laid down in his garden, the train used to run whole night with sirens hoots etc, what an idea sir jee.

Pity I am not there,An arrow with blunt tips in the ribs and that fox would think twice before it came close to human habitat again.

Get into another business or start a fishery where there are no foxes and wildboars.

Hey Don
Both the foxes and dogs are of same family but dogs are faithful to their owners. Buy a good quality pup of lab, rot, G shepherd or something similar. Provide a good training to the pup and pedigree. With in 6 months result will be in front of you. dogs in video r trained to catch fishes. if u train ur one not to catch fish and take care of ur pond, they will protect your pond and family too. Feed them properly and they wont bite ur fishes :D
All depends on the habit u teach ur dog.

Hi Vikram and kanwar76

That is not my business, it is my family business and due to this problem we can not sale those fields(ponds).

No Law say to sit idle while you or your property is being damaged by some elements ( may be human or animal), If some law says such why to follow that law? I dont want to comment on law but in law it self stating it.
