Re: Canon 65 (.22)
Guys, finally I managed to get my Canon 65..A friend of mine was in Kolkata last weekend and luckily the rifle was in stock at Olympics. I requested him to buy one for me and he did.. He has reached Bangalore and managed to hand carry the rifle along with him by flight (hassle free). Rifle reached Bangalore and I am yet to collect it from his residence at Bannergetta Road. Just can't wait to get my hands on the rifle.
Will post pics and cost of the rifle shortly.

will surely do. but the stock of the rifle is not at all impressive when compared to IHP. Will get it custom made and replace it.

Approx 1K to 1.5K. Better quality would cost about 3 K

Re: Canon 65 (.22)
Today I dismantled my canon 35 with my own Air Rifle Spring Compressor
The internal parts are very rusty.
Please suggest me the method of cleaning those parts
Now first I will clean those all parts & wish to install new spring & washer.
Can I use Synthetics washer because the tube is not seamless
& where will I get Synthetics washer
Is it worth investing in Synthetics washer?
I will try Gsmith or IHP 35 spring whichever I will get first

Re: Canon 65 (.22)
Soak the rusted parts in Thinner the rust will come off.
Once that is done if there are any rough spots then u can sand them off with steel wool or any fine sand paper.
Gsmith or Cherokee springs are good.
To install a synthetic washer you first need to hone the inside of the cylinder with steel wool and a few drops of oil. once that is smooth, degrease and then you can use the synthetic washer (if u can find one locally - or use an imported one).
Otherwise you can go in for Gsmith Leather washers which are pretty good.

I called to Gunmark-Pune but the Gsmith spring is not in stock it will take at list 15 to 20 days more & for Gsmith Leather washers he quoted me Rs.85/-
Where will I get cherokee springs? Preferably in Mumbai & what will be the appx. Cost

Dear Pratik,
Can you kindly let me know how did you remove the main spring from the Canon. Unlike the IHP i did not notice any pin on the Canon. Also the end cap at the rear of the Cylinder is very tight.
Look fewd to hear from you, a pic illustration will be very helpful.

First you have to remove the end cap (it got threads)
Then remove the trigger assembly
Then fix your gun in spring Compressor & adjust the C vice at the end of the piston (apply pressure).
Now remove the nut carefully & slowly rotate C vice
I will try to post some pic today
