Dream a .357 Magnum
The other day I was thinking that since we live in India under so many restrictions , what is the best that we can aspire for. Only one thing came to my mind was .357 Magnum. Its the biggest and most powerful that we can buy under NP Bore category cause PB is something which is out of reach for a common man . It has a choice of ammunition which can be used in .357 ( 357 mag or .38 spl ) which is very rare in other weapons. It has a powerful and accurate throw . Range is also very very good among handguns. The only constraint between myself and .357 is the price barrier. For the time being it is way beyond my budget. I would love to listen more about .357 from other IFG'ins .

Practical way out is to support NAGRI and enroll maximum people possible. Once politicians know that people understand and respect their sacred Constitutionally guaranteed rights, their philosophies will change automatically.

357 Revolver is undoubtedly the biggest NB bore revolver in prevaling Indian scenario but weapon is costly and getting cartridges is very difficult in eastern part of the country, the cost is 500 a pop .
Powerfull in what sense , if one stop stopping power is what is desired then 7.62x25 is not a good bet being light weight high velocity cartridge.
If you balance every thing in INDIAN scenario i.e cost of handgun ,stopping power and cost of bullet .380 acp is best bet. .380 acp beretta model 1934 or llama goes for 3 lac and bullet is avaliable at 160 , even you can get hollow point at 225. Now a days even .32 acp imported bullet goes for 160 or even 180.
Still nothing compare 357 . If law of land permit some day i would love to have Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in .454 Casull .
Grewal , check this video , i hope some like-minded tough guys would certainly like it, enjoy...
