Airgun ISW-50 from bandukbhandar

Post by meow » Sat Aug 07, 2010 5:11 pm

Hey friends

Today I received my new ISW 50 airgun from Mr.Kezar Husen Bandukwala (bandukbhandar in this forum) Indore, MP.

Speks:
Model: M50
Caliber: .22
Weight: 3.5 Kg
Length: 3.7 feet / 45 inchs
Velocity: 120 m/s
It comes with a Sling, but I have removed it.

Purchase Det:
ISW 50 Model Economy (.22) = Rs.2,730/-
Packing = Rs.250/- (cardboard box)
Total = Rs.2,980/-
Delivered through GATI Services at a charge of Rs.670/-

About Seller:
Mr.Kezar Husen Bandukwala (bandukbhandar) responded on time for all my mails and dispatched the item after an online transfer was successful.
Received the item in just 5 days. I would recommend to deal with him.
Nice & smooth deal, except for some of my queries for which he turned a blind eye.

Haven't tested the gun much except for few pellets. Need to zero the ISW next week when I find time.
Performance 'OK', nothing fantastic. Finishing is not up to the mark. (i know, thats all one can get for something around Rs.2,000)
.22 pellets are a bit tight for this ISW 50. Need to squeeze the pellet in without deforming its shape even before it is shot.
I though the pellet will get stuck midway inside the barrel, but God shot it out.
However I found the Aimco M300 to be more powerfull and good looking than ISW.
Dont have IHP so no comments on it.

Thanks for your support friends. Stay in touch 8)
Coz I need you

Find the pics. SECOND TIME IN IFG YOU GET TO SEE AN ISW :)

I am unable to zero the ISW  It shoots right hand side of the target even after setting the windage to the extreme left. Seems like the barrel is slightly bent to the right (package might have had a fall or hit before delivery). Any solution?

hi
now that we have so many new purchases in recent past
it would be really welcoming from senior members if they can give expert opinion about which toy .22 to go for new entrants
thanks

Please trying shifting ur backsight towards the right. the more u shift the backsight towards the left ,the more will be the deflection of the pellet to the right. Galti pe galti honi chahiye.hence, shift ur back sight to the RIGHT.

How is that possible?? gun shoots right, so i have to move the back sight to left while i am holding the butt.
I dont understand which angle you are thinking..from front or back..

Meow, the basic rules to zero your gun are,

1) If she shoots to the right, adjust the back sight to the right
2) If she shoots to the left , adjust the sights to the left.
3) If she shoots high, increase the rear sight
4) If she shoots low, then lower the same.

As far as pellet tightness is concerned, try Master shot. G Smith for e.g is generally larger.
If the problem is still there, you might have to do a little chamfering at the breach end.

The early bird gets the worm, but the fact is, if the worm had woken up late, it would still be alive.
