it must be a new technique,(i wonder if they call it suidyside?) as the old way was to pull it or blow in situ.

This looks like in Cambodia. If you take a walk in downtown Phom Phen, you will be shocked to see the number of people missing limbs, thanks to the land mines.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

but he seems to be so sure of what he is doing he is playing with a land mine like he is not at all afraid of what that landmine can do.

i think that this clip is planned as the AP mines seem to be in good condition and not left over since the conflict.
not only that most of the mine clearing was taught by the Europeans and this is not one of there students.
as they do not teach the way we see in the clip.
